Let's all go camping this summer! Trevor is already on board and all I need is encouragement from one to drag you all in. What do you think? I figure we can get the idea out now so people can make plans to take off work or what have you. All of you. Children & legally bound-types. I'll organize the whole thing so no one has to worry about logistics? |

This snow is throwing me off. When I woke up I didn't get out of bed for an hour. Then I made tea and got back into bed for another hour. Then it was long hot shower time. Then eat a lot of soup time. Clearly I'm not getting anything done today. Well besides baking a pie for pi day. |

It's been a good month so far. Sales are good. I've made a new friend who is completely endearing and a bit inspirational. I got to play dress up with Layla tonight. Any time with Layla is a good time but seeing that woman in a good dress is just great. She's too beautiful for her own good.
And. I've heard. Rumors. I've heard rumors that Jenn is back in town. My gangly drama friend from days of yore or in other words high school.
If you're reading this Jenn you better say hi. We need to get coffee or tea or something and catch up. Jennifer Cooper I want to see your adorable face.
Question for the internet: Do social events/activities leave you drained or energized? |

You'd think after 17 years of this I'd be able to manage the pain. All I want to do is curl up and eat chocolate ice-cream and never move. I might go for some wine later. Are there any better alternatives to pills? Someone said if you put a puppy on your stomach it helps but I have serious doubts about that. |

I was so worried that all the clothing in the shop was going to get flooded so I moved everything to the second story. The building is already raised but I was so stressed out. I don’t know what I’d do if I lost all that inventory? I’d be ruined. I know that’s what insurance is for but it’s more than that. A lot of the clothing I have in there is one of a kind and some of the dresses are handmade by a girl from Parsons. I’d be gutted if something happened. Luckily nothing did. You are all lucky my power went out. Or else the internet would have been flooded with my monster drama queen screaming.
But seriously. What is with this weather?! Snow like a mother--- and flooding? What’s next a massive fire this summer? Good lord.
If anyone has a good collection art inspired by this weather you should let me know! Photographs, paintings, or poetry? Let me know! Once the weather has calmed down I want to have a night of artistic reminiscing of this crazy time. Layla? Did you get anything good? You have to have your photos up in my place. |
